Hi, i’m Anne and for the past 5 years I have found myself being drawn to sewing and all things crafty. I have always enjoyed being creative and it still amazes me how a project can start off as one thing but can transform into something completely different and somehow it just works! I often find myself hours into a project thinking, “blimey what is this supposed to be” but I plod on and then somehow it ends up looking like a thing I would be happy to post about saying “Hey Look What I Just Made” to my wonderful friends and family. Not always the case though, I have unpicked many trial projects that just did not work!! I am a big believer in just having a go at something and if it works Yay and if it doesn’t No Biggie!!
This Cushion started out as some some squares of tartan fabric I had in my scrap pile (I find it hard to throw anything away) so I decided to sew them together and see how it looked, I then thought it would look quite nice next to a plain fabric so that was how the background came about – definitely Trial and Error!! I have a lot of fun sewing and would encourage anyone of any age to give it a try!! You will make mistakes and you will start talking to yourself (if you don’t already) but you will have a lot of fun doing so!! Good Luck and Happy Crafting.
